Vol 2 Week 4: Sticky Fingers
Today is pretty slow in terms of the project mostly because my partner and I on Tuesday were a bit lost on how to go about actually starting the project. First, we were finding out what Tween is and how it's gonna be used in our project, what to do with it, etc. But today with the diligence of my partner she managed to find a way we can use a Tween solution in our project. We then set out to the nearest creosote shrub on campus and began taking four samples off of the tips of the shrub's branches. Quite sticky the little buggers are when you go for the leaves using tweezers and placing them into little tubes (the name escapes me.) I never realized leaves off of a plant can be pretty sticky. Somehow I got some loose leaves on my fingers. Once back the lab all we needed to do was place the solution into the tubes the leaves are let it work it's magic. Stay tuned.
